Kerryn Forster.
Kerryn Forster is a gold and silversmith. Her work draws on natural, organic, and typically australian forms, and projects range from intricately crafted jewellery to large sculptural works in a range of media from precious metals to found driftwood.
Brief
To create an identity that represents Kerryn’s work, and reflects her relationship to the Australian landscape she works within: in the Gippsland Lakes region of Victoria.
Concept
To use typography to represent the organic forms Kerryn works with, and colour to reflect the landscape and tie in with Forster Studios identity. A goldsmith’s makers mark traditionally bears a symbol of the makers initials, the moon (silver), a crown (gold).
